The story of the Plant based café

 The plant based café:

Set in the not too distant future.... 2454

The Plant based café is seen, with it's doors open for all customers.

However, this plant based café is not human like.

In the year 2246 Humans were officially wiped off of Earth's surface, leaving only few surviving creatures around.

An alien ship, 'The pot' (as the aliens deemed it) was travelling through space, looking for a spare planet to inhabit, as their previous one was  destroyed by their ruler,

Dionaea muscipula. There were however, many warning signs that their ruler would go crazy, so with the knowledge of this, thousands of the little plantlings that lived on planet Vita,

decided to escape. With the help of the best scientists in the world they managed to create a space ship big enough to encapsulate around 3,000 plantlings. The spaceship had only been

in space for a few weeks before they found earth, the perfect world to take over. 

Once landing they discovered what seemed to be a planet overrun by natural life, however this life was living without being able to move or talk. The plantlings found it odd, however

learnt more about their new home gradually. One little plantling, pod, discovered a plant café!. It looked so old and damaged, and had a massive tree sticking through it.

However, this little plantling wanted to change all of that. Now, at a young age of 84, essentially 22 in alien years, Pod has finally managed to complete his dream and his café is open

for business.

One thing is for sure, he definitely misunderstood what the humans meant by plant based. 

Instead of selling plant based foods, Pod sells plants in pots for these plants to consume. He did at first question his moral, but because these local plants have no brain or any way

to talk, he thinks it is totally okay, and so do all of his customers. Being a plant lifeform, Pod can easily identify what type of plant each local plant is. This helped with him building his cafe.

In the local area there were a lot of different plants, and the plantlings wanted to remove them from these homes in order to make a new way of life and live in the homes, clean of the 

local plants. So Pod received a lot of donations, which is brilliant for him. He decieded to plant them aroud the back of his cafe, in the local soil, so that they could stay there until he was ready

to move them into plant pots to be sold. He only found out what a plant pot was when they discovered the local 'Q & B' where there was a label saying 'plant pots'. Pod immediately took as

many as he could.

Obviously Pod has to cater to the carnivorous plants as well, so he keeps the insects that get onto his plants, and puts them on plates. He keeps the insects outside though, so that he doesn't

have any of them escaping into the plants in the storage area. Finally, Pod also discovered hot leaf juice, hot bean juice and hot coco bean juice, and is the only café in the local area to sell them.

This is mainly due to the fact that the plantlings are still establishing how to live, and are finding new things out about everything on planet Earth, which has been renamed to Alpha.

A description of plantlings: 

Plantlings describe themselves as bubble humans. they look like if you were to get a human and make them more stickman like. They also are able to grow hair on their heads and facial hair.

They consume food through their feet, as plants would consume food through their roots. However, Plantlings have mouths to use as a form of communication and also to reproduce.

Plantlings tend to have stems coming from their head with leaves on and these are usually for display purposes, like peacocks. However, some Plantlings like to trim their stems right down 

to the root as a sign of embracing the new world and a fresh start. These same planlings also believe that when your plant is coming into season, it is time to let it grow out.

Pollen is distributed from their mouth, so when pollinating the two plantlings are essentially kissing, like humans did.
