Week 2

This week I took on some feedback on my café layout.

To some, the lounging area in the top right made no sense, which was understandable and I also had a suggestion to extend the counter all the way to the right wall, and make the shelving area blocked off from the café and to create a door going through to storage behind the counter.

Below you can see the new layout of my café design. I understand why these changes were implemented and I do agree with them. However there is still a few things that I want to change such as the size of the café overall as it is now looking to big, more like a coffee shop rather than a small café.

Below is my final café layout. I changed my design to be smaller so that I could fill the space easier.
This is exactly how I want the café to feel, small and compact. I need to keep this sense of the café being small, but not small enough for people to disregard going in.

I also had to add in some more essential assets into my asset table. Crucial assets that I missed such as walls and floors. I missed these simply because they are such a crucial item that in my mind it is 100% clear that I'll be making them. However, I need to ensure I write them down so that I prep my time wisely and not create them all last minute.
